ARIANNA
founded Gypsy Fire dance studio in 1997.She began her dance training in 1969 in
classical ballet, jazz and modern She is very creative, naturally graceful and
eloquent in her dance!
She began performing in 1970 in the Ozarks. She continued studying ballet and began
modern dance at Butler University and Southwest Missouri State U. through 1975. Then
in 1975, while in Missouri, she began her belly dance training in the classic Egyptian
style with Diane Hawkins. She continued studying modern and belly dance, taking
classes and workshops. In 1997, she discovered American Tribal Style, fell in love with it
and opened her dance studio. Tribal belly dance encourages cooperation and
communication instead of competition. Group improvisation is a fabulous new
development for any style of dance- it takes it to a new level and brings excitement
& fun to the performance!
